Don't let them vanish: Harness the Power of Email Marketing

Let's assume you're at a conference, working the room like a pro, and you meet someone who'd be a huge addition to your network. But, you wait too long to ask for their contact info, and they vanish into thin air. What a bummer, right? It's similar with potential clients. If you don't ask for their contact info at the right moment, you might miss out on the chance to follow up with them later. However, if you seize the opportunity and ask for their email address, you can add them to your list and keep them engaged with your brand. So, is email marketing worth it? Here's a cool stat: 91% of people check their email daily, and many use it as a to-do list! That's a lot of potential for getting your message seen. Email marketing can be a powerful tool for building relationships, driving sales, and growing your business. By collecting email addresses and sending targeted, valuable content, you can stay top of mind with your audience and encourage them to take ...

What's Today like for you

"Why do we feel lazy or tired at times?  What are you feeding your Mind? Sometimes it could be the result of stress or a health condition, and so many other factors but one other cogent reason is the 'Sapa Syndrome' - that's when you're broke! I woke up this morning contemplating whether to go to church, not because I felt tired inside, but my body responded to the thought that I am exhausted. I dragged myself out of bed; I couldn't iron my clothes before the power supply was cut off, and the rain started drizzling. I was hoping it would rain, secretly wanting to use it as an excuse to stay in. The only reason for my tiredness was that I didn't have enough money to take me to church. But I know I'd never be stranded, even without money; I just didn't want to put myself in a compromising situation. So, I told myself, 'Girl, you're going!' and had to prepare for service. I was exhausted and had to look for something else to wear that I wou...

Diversifying is not important

"Today, I had to go out and buy gas, despite having purchased 3kg just a week ago. When I buy 2kg, it usually lasts me a week. It's quite frustrating to see it finish so quickly. I'm not sure what's better, but I don't think I'll get a full 6kg soon. Coming from someone who owns two 6kg cylinders and one 3kg cylinder, yet only refills 2kg at a time, it's puzzling. How do you describe this situation? The issue isn't the amount of gas, but rather how quickly it seems to run out. It's like drinking a cup of water or your favorite drink and finishing it in no time – it's infuriating! I had to knock on the vendor's gate and shout only for someone to help me before he finally heard me and sold me the gas. To be honest, this isn't the first time this has happened, and it's becoming embarrassing. It got me thinking: is buying in bulk the problem? For me, the answer is NO . The quantity isn't the issue; diversification is. Some households...

Owabe things

Where are the  Owabe ga! gan! gangs!? 😂 Interestingly, I'm not typically one to dress up and attend parties, but this weekend I decided to venture out. The weather seemed determined to discourage me – a typical day for me would have meant crawling back into bed – but I chose to brave it, and thankfully, it didn't rain until I arrived at the party venue. It wasn't a large gathering, and I was grateful that it wasn't too crowded; somehow, I had a feeling it wouldn't be. Just as I arrived, it started raining, even before the party officially began! The canopy was in disrepair, and I wondered why the owner still leased it out or why the couple would agree to host an event under such conditions. With the rain pouring down, we all sought shelter in the bride's parent's spacious sitting room, which was fortunately empty at the time. Eventually, the rain stopped, and the party commenced. The food was delicious, there is smoked Jollof rice and Fried Rice being the h...

Decision Making

How to Make a Good Decision A Journey of Patience and Faith Decision making can be daunting, especially when it comes to important choices. The process depends on various factors, including available options, individual capacities, and goals. Many people have their own approaches to reaching a conclusion, and I've had my share of decision-making experiences. Sometimes I've made the right choices, and others haven't. Upon reflection, I've realized that decisions made in haste often tend to be incorrect, although there are exceptions. When making certain decisions, I've found that inner peace can be a guiding factor. I recall when my husband and I were looking to rent an apartment. We felt uneasy about a particular place, despite its advantages, such as proximity to the bus stop and affordable rent. My husband suggested that we shouldn't proceed with the rental since we weren't at peace with it. Initially, I thought he was hesitant due to personal reasons, but...

Finding me

Finding Me Have you ever wondered what career path is right for you? Let's explore this question together. As a kid, I had big dreams - I wanted to be an actress, nurse, fashion designer, writer, and detective, among other things. But as I grew older, I started questioning which path fit me. My dad's advice steered me away from certain careers, citing concerns about safety and stability. His words made me think twice about pursuing some of my dreams. Now, in my late 20s, I'm still figuring out my true calling. I've tried teaching, entrepreneurship, and other interests, but I'm yet to find a career that brings both fulfillment and financial stability. Through my experiences, I've realized that finding oneself is a journey, not a destination. I've learned to appreciate the process and enjoy the ride. As a copywriter and ghostwriter, I've discovered a passion for writing, and it's awesome to see my work in print. I'd love to hear from you: 1. What w...
