Diversifying is not important

"Today, I had to go out and buy gas, despite having purchased 3kg just a week ago. When I buy 2kg, it usually lasts me a week. It's quite frustrating to see it finish so quickly. I'm not sure what's better, but I don't think I'll get a full 6kg soon. Coming from someone who owns two 6kg cylinders and one 3kg cylinder, yet only refills 2kg at a time, it's puzzling. How do you describe this situation?

The issue isn't the amount of gas, but rather how quickly it seems to run out. It's like drinking a cup of water or your favorite drink and finishing it in no time – it's infuriating! I had to knock on the vendor's gate and shout only for someone to help me before he finally heard me and sold me the gas. To be honest, this isn't the first time this has happened, and it's becoming embarrassing. It got me thinking: is buying in bulk the problem? For me, the answer is NO. The quantity isn't the issue; diversification is.
Some households have gas cylinders but still use charcoal or firewood as a backup. It's not surprising to see stoves in homes these days, just in case the gas runs out. While some can afford to refill multiple cylinders, the point is that it's better to have a backup plan. When one cylinder runs out, you can switch to the other and refill at your convenience. This is essentially diversification.
In today's world, it's recommended not to put all your eggs in one basket. If you're relying on a single thing, make sure you have a backup plan to avoid falling flat when it runs out. I'm considering switching to an electric cooker as a more convenient and affordable option.
In life, one skill or talent is no longer enough. You need to diversify and explore different opportunities. Even the Richest Man in Africa, Aliko Dangote, doesn't just sell one product. What are you doing to diversify? There are various platforms and ways to do so, including real estate, food, investments, mutual funds, starting a business, and more. By diversifying, you can ensure that when one area suffers, you can fall back on another.
